Robert and Cortney Novogratz, that is.
I first fell in love with this design duo (and their SEVEN children)
last year on their Bravo show, SixxDesign.
Now they have a new show called Home by Novogratz on HGTV.
One of their latest Manhattan apartment makeovers really had me swooning!
Those gold lights! The fun color! Mix of vintage and modern!
Before..............and After!
In addition to their regularly awesome light fixture selections,
they always seem to be finding really neat, one-of-a-kind pieces of art.
Hello, Queen Mother.
In one episode, they even used the homeowners' kids' artwork
in one big shrink art piece by Jan Eleni.
Amaze-balls!
I also dig their large black and white picture walls.
Super cute for family rec rooms.
I've been meaning to get ahold of a copy of their book:
So that maybe I can re-create some of their inspirations in our own home.
Regardless, looking forward to this week's episode!
Catch them every Saturday at 9pm CST.

I fell in love with them too!! The HGTV show is good but haven't seen it in a while. Hopefully they're just filming & haven't cancelled it. I want to do the shrink art for sure. Thanks for shinning another light on the Novogratz duo.
ReplyDeleteI would love to knwo where to go to do the shrink art do you have any suggestions? please reply to fancyface_too@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteHere's the link to the shrink art source used by the Novogratz: http://janeleni.com/
ReplyDeleteLet me know how it turns out! :)
My company recently did a blog post on how to help organize paperwork and we used your ideas if you wanted to check it out. http://bit.ly/1AQo6wJ
ReplyDeleteWe wrote about taking artwork, shrinking it down and then putting it in a large frame for each child with their best artwork. Wouldn't that look lovely in a dining room with 3 frames on the walls for each child?
