Epic weekend

The long weeks are tolerable when you have amazing weekends to look forward to!

Here's the recap of last weekend's festivities:

Friday:

Vanessa Carlton and Matt Nathanson at the Overture Center in Madison, WI:

(possibly worth missing the UW Homecoming Parade!)

Saturday morning:

UW Homecoming!

Badgers vs. Indiana

After hanging with family and friends pre-grame.

It was a perfectly crisp, sunny football fall Saturday!

Saturday evening:

Apartment showings in our future home - Milwaukee!!

Saw some great places - probably not "the one", but definitely a good start.

Followed by dinner at Comet Cafe.

YUM.

Sunday morning:
Coffee and thesis writing at Alterra Foundry in the up and coming 5th Ward.

Sunday afternoon:

Packer game at an old friends house on the north side.

Good company, good win!

Sunday evening:

Tailgating at Miller Park with friends,

then watching the Brewers try to hang on for a chance at the World Series.

No such luck, but I did win a Sausage Race bet!

It was one looooong, solitary drive home to IL...

and I certainly paid for the fun today.  Mondays on 3.5 hours are majorly cruel!!
