Slippers

With me being on my feet all day, everyday,

I think this fall trend is one I will certainly jump on.

And if Olivia Palermo is doing it,

it must be cool.

And with a gift card to Nordstrom's burning a hole in my pocket,

I may even scoop a couple pairs of work-appropriate Tom's.

(Because they are just so comfortable and I'm a sucker for a good cause.)

Wish list

While shopping with my birthday coupons and gift cards,

I developed a wish list.

Wish list because:

1.  With personal budget cuts, I shouldn't be buying anything.

2.  Especially not frivolous things I do not really need.

Office space

Now these prints would light a fire under my ass.

And I think these sweet little painted berry boxes are so cute!

You could store all sorts of things in them,

from writing utensils to note cards to rubber bands and paper clips.

about starting my last quarter of NP residency!

Wedding "thank you's"

I think these beautifully worded and artful "thank you's"

are such a lovely idea.

Not to mention a great way to further incorporate your color scheme!

At each place setting,

these cards clearly articulate the couple's feelings towards their guests,

which is especially important on a whirlwind day

when you might not make it to each person individually!

Gettin' lucky with Bucky

Last year at this time, we were in Vegas.

This year, we're taking on UNLV at home.

It's gonna be hot and sweaty,
but probably not this steamy in Madison, WI...

...but a night game at Camp Randall is sure to be a great kickoff

to yet another fabulous Badger football season with all of my favorites!

(including our very own beer, cheese, and "Wisconsin waterfalls.")

End-of-summer wishlist

I know it's technically still summer until September 23rd,
(and it definitely still feels like summer with this sweltering heat!)

but somehow once Labor Day (or even September 1st!) rolls around,

I've already got fall on my brain.

(Because fall just might be my very favorite time of year!)
